Education and Certification Job description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Smart Home Automation Electrician to join our team The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical installations particularly for smart home systems and a passion for integrating cutting-edge technology into residential and commercial spaces This role involves installing configuring and maintaining smart devices and systems to provide seamless automation solutions for our clients Key Responsibilities Installation and Setup Install and configure smart home systems including lighting thermostats curtain motors sensors door locks and audio video setups Route and connect wiring for devices such as smart switches access points and cameras System Integration Ensure compatibility and integration between various smart home devices and platforms e g Zigbee Z-Wave Wi-Fi Program and calibrate devices to meet client requirements Troubleshooting and Maintenance Diagnose and resolve issues related to wiring connectivity or device malfunction Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of installed systems Client Interaction Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable smart home solutions Provide client training on the use of installed systems Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with designers architects and other contractors to ensure smooth project execution Follow project blueprints specifications and safety standards Qualifications and Skills Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field Valid electrician license or equivalent certification Experience Proven experience in electrical installations with a focus on smart home automation systems Familiarity with platforms like Aqara Lutron Crestron or Control4 is a plus Technical Skills Strong understanding of electrical wiring networking and protocols like Zigbee Z-Wave and Wi-Fi Ability to use diagnostic tools and software for system troubleshooting Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Additional Requirements Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations Physical ability to perform installations including climbing ladders and lifting heavy equipment Valid driver s license and willingness to travel to client sites Why Join Us Opportunity to work with innovative smart home technologies Collaborative and energetic work environment Career growth and development opportunities Job Type Full-time Job Type Full-time Pay 600 000 00 - 800 000 00 per year Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
