About Us Centre for Advanced Engineering is a leading NABL accredited geotechnical consulting firm specializing in testing of physical engineering and chemical parameters of soil rock and water We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Laboratory Specialist to join our team Further inclusion of testing of all engineering parameters of construction materials is on the horizon Role Summary The Geotechnical Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing of soil and rock samples maintaining accurate test records and supporting report preparation in compliance with applicable standards and NABL quality requirements The role is suited for professionals with hands-on laboratory experience and strong attention to detail looking for long-term growth in a NABL-accredited geotechnical laboratory environment Key Responsibilities Conduct laboratory tests on soil and rock samples Maintain proper documentation of all testing activities Assist in preparing test reports including basic data analysis and backup calculations Ensure compliance with quality standards Support the laboratory team in maintenance of equipment Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes Required Skills Hands-on experience in laboratory testing Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to use graphing plotting tools Good organizational and documentation skills Working knowledge of CAD Preferred Skills Familiarity with laboratory protocols quality assurance practices and NABL documentation requirements Understanding of standard test methods IS ASTM BS codes and their application in soil and rock testing Eligibility Graduate degree in Science Geology Civil Engineering or a related field Experience 3 years Job Type Full-time Pay 195 000 00 - 650 000 00 per year Perks Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
