ABOUT SAADAA We are a direct-to-consumer D2C lifestyle brand Our vision is to advocate the SAADAA way of living and make BETTER basics for everyone Among the Top 1 Shopify stores in India we are a bootstrapped and profitable brand with industry-leading benchmarks In just 4 years we have grown from a 100 sq ft garage to a 150 member team ROLE OVERVIEW The Product Development Specialist will manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept research and fabric selection to sampling fit validation and final product readiness This role requires a blend of creative thinking technical knowledge and commercial understanding to ensure that every product developed knits and wovens aligns with SAADAA s design philosophy customer needs and business goals WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORManage full-cycle product development across knit and woven categories from concept to production handover Conduct market trend and consumer research to identify relevant silhouettes and product opportunities aligned with brand DNA Evaluate fabrics yarns trims and finishes for quality functionality and sustainability standards Create and maintain CAD sketches tech packs and measurement specs for sampling and bulk production Coordinate sampling fittings and revisions ensuring accuracy in fit construction and finish Work closely with vendors and mills to resolve technical issues and ensure timely development closures Support costing and margin targets by optimizing materials and construction methods Collaborate with merchandising sourcing and production teams for smooth product transitions and on-time launches Guide and support junior team members in execution and technical learning WHO YOU AREBachelor s or Master s degree in Fashion Technology Textile Design Knitwear Design or a related field 3-6 years of experience in product development within an apparel or fashion brand knits and or wovens Robust understanding of garment construction pattern development fit analysis and finishing techniques Proficiency in CAD tools tech pack development and garment specifications Hands-on experience with sampling quality checks and vendor coordination Working knowledge of costing principles and commercial viability Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles and timelines Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions WHY BE A PART OF SAADAA Do you feel out of place in a world full of unnecessary complexities Do you find joy in little things Are you curious about how things work and how we got here Do you believe people focus on the wrong things Are you excited by the idea of learning new things or solving problems in the simplest way If your answer is yes you belong here At SAADAA we believe simplicity and better basics lead to a more meaningful life We exist to fight unconscious consumption and unnecessary complexity through thoughtfully designed products WHAT DO WE OFFER A team of empathetic problem solvers Clear growth path into senior leadership Opportunity to create meaningful products Culture of continuous learning Freedom to explore fail and learn
