Role & responsibilities

- Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations at construction sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and hazard assessments.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
- Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors on safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with local safety laws and statutory requirements.
- Identify unsafe practices and implement corrective actions.




- Ensure emergency procedures and first-aid facilities are available on site.

Preferred candidate profile

- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Safety & Fire
- Skilled certification in Safety
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Safety Officer in construction projects.
- Knowledge of local construction safety laws, codes, and regulations.
- Familiar with risk assessment, job hazard analysis (JHA), and permit-to-work systems.
- Excellent observation and hazard identification skills.

Flexibility to work in different project locations as required.
