JOB DESCRIPTION OF SITE ENGINEER PREFERED FURNITURE INTERRIOR BACKGROUND CANDIDATES ONLY Position Site Engineer Department Projects Execution Industry Wood Modular Furniture Interior Fit-Out 1 Job Summary The Site Engineer is responsible for coordinating supervising and executing woodwork interior projects at the site The role ensures that installation works are completed accurately safely within deadlines and as per design specifications and quality standards 2 Key Responsibilities Project Execution Supervision Supervise day-to-day site activities related to woodwork furniture installation and interior fit-outs Ensure installation is done as per approved drawings BOQ and design specifications Coordinate with carpenters technicians installers and subcontractors Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication and installation B Coordination Work closely with the design team production team and project managers for smooth execution Coordinate with clients contractors architects for site clarifications and approvals Arrange workflow and manpower allocation on the site C Quality Control Inspect all materials and finished work for quality compliance Ensure proper fixing finishing alignment and detailing as per standards Identify and resolve technical issues at the site D Documentation Reporting Maintain daily work reports measurement sheets and snag lists Update project progress to Project Manager regularly Record material usage site inventory and labour attendance E Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and site protocols Ensure proper handling of tools materials and finished products 3 Required Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of wood materials modular furniture joinery hardware and installation techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings AutoCAD Pytha Good communication and team coordination skills Problem-solving ability to handle site challenges Basic computer skills for reporting Time-management and multitasking ability 4 Qualifications Diploma BE in Civil Engineering Interior Design Architecture or related field 2-5 years of experience in woodwork interior site execution for senior roles 5-10 years Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 28 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Perks Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
