Job Profile TERI invites applications from dynamic and research-oriented candidates for engagement as Associate Fellow AF in the Centre for Energy Assessment and Modelling TERI The role-s focus will be on energy systems integrated assessment modelling including collection and analysis of large datasets concerning India-s energy sector This position offers the candidates an opportunity to work in a competitive fast-paced and interdisciplinary environment as well as to interact with other national and international researchers academicians policymakers and industry representatives thereby allowing them to explore their niche and establish themselves in this field Key Responsibilities Modelling of diverse scenarios at global national sub-national state level Conduct research and analysis on energy demand and supply consumption trends energy trade technologies and emissions Contribution towards enhancing existing models and frameworks by improving the model structure updating data and forecasts validation of model outputs and analysis of results Publishing reports articles blogs and journal articles and presentation of results to a wider audience including stakeholders policymakers and academicians Organizing internal and external meetings stakeholder dialogues workshops and other dissemination events Willing to travel domestically and internationally Experience 2 - 7 Years Qualification Ph D in Energy Economics Power systems Electrical Mechanical or related fields with at least 2 years of relevant research or policy experience or a post-graduate degree in the same fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience Skills Working knowledge and proficiency in energy systems power systems model is a must - Robust understanding of energy policy- regulatory frameworks- and institutional mechanisms in India - Excellent programming skills in Python- and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI- Tableau- etc - Excellent writing- communication- and stakeholder engagement skills Location Delhi Salary As per TERI norms Please apply latest by October 15 2025
