Key responsibilities Display design Plan and create attractive visual displays for store windows walkways and counters to enhance aesthetics and encourage customers to enter and shop Layout and space planning Develop floor plans to optimize the layout of the store and position displays to maximize sales potential Sourcing and setup Find suppliers for props mannequins and other materials and arrange them including setting up lighting and creating signage Brand consistency Ensure all visual merchandising efforts align with brand guidelines and marketing strategies to create a consistent look and feel across all locations Promotional support Work with marketing teams on product launches promotions and other events Staff training Train sales staff on how to maintain displays and present products according to the brand s standards Trend research Stay up-to-date on fashion design and consumer trends to inform creative strategies Budget management Monitor and manage the budget for visual merchandising materials and projects Required skills and qualifications Creative and artistic ability Strong sense of design color theory and aesthetics Technical skills Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite is often preferred along with good IT skills Communication and collaboration Ability to work effectively with teams including marketing and sales staff Business and marketing acumen An understanding of how to use visual merchandising to drive sales and support marketing goals Hands-on and practical skills Ability to improvise work with a variety of materials and handle the physical aspects of setting up displays Adaptability Willingness to stay current with trends and adapt to new challenges Education A high school diploma is a minimum requirement but employers often prefer degrees in fashion graphic design or business Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 11 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Advantages Food provided Work Location In person
