JRS India Corporation Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the J R Simplot Company The J R Simplot Company is a diverse privately held organization with roots firmly planted in agriculture and agriculture-related businesses The J R Simplot Company is a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture including seed production farming and ranching plant sciences fertilizer manufacturing food processing commercial product development and distribution Summary This role is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of process and utility equipment of the plant from raw material receival to finished goods despatch including frozen storage in the shift to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment This includes mechanical maintenance lubrication sanitation troubleshooting and repair of all machines equipment Key Responsibilities Follow all safety and compliance policies procedures systems of the company - C A R E - Commit Access Recognize Encourage program Commit comply support the Simplot Sustainability Strategy and work towards achieving the sustainability targets of the company Follow all personnel and process safety guidelines while attending all kind of jobs in the shift Execute predictive preventive and breakdown maintenance jobs as per instructions of shift team leader Get the work permit authorization from the shift team leader before starting any maintenance job Execute and complete preventive maintenance schedules on time for smooth functioning mechanical side of process and utility equipment Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns as well as performing repairs Attend and resolve the assigned maintenance job within the standard time limit set by the company i e TFFR- Time For First Response OEE Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment setting Control downtime by informing production team of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliances Remove defective parts by dismantling machines using hoists cranes power hand tools Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using measuring scale calipers micrometers and other measuring instruments Fabricate repairable parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment Maintain inventory of knives and assist with the set-up of mechanical and hydro cutting systems for production runs Maintenance of high-speed cutter heads the dicing cutter system and any other cutting equipment Document mechanical service records Fill and submit the shift log sheet to the shift team leader with details of maintenance jobs handled during the shift spare parts used time spent on each maintenance activity reason for stoppages etc Brief the highlights related to mechanical maintenance in the shift to the shift team leader Complete or handover the maintenance jobs carried out in the shift Should leave the duty only after the handover of work responsibilities is done to the next shift Attend and contribute in the shift handover-takeover meetings between the team leaders along with the maintenance crew at the end of the shift Actively participate in different programs trainings initiatives taken by company from time to time Ensures proper food safety sanitation and cleaning procedures of all processing equipment and tools Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree GED Relevant Experience 2 to 8 years of relevant experience Required Certifications Must have completed ITI in fitter mechanical electrical on full time basis from recognised academic institute which is approved by UGC or similar accreditation body Other Information Must have hands on experience of troubleshooting of technical problems related to production maintenance Experience in greenfield projects preferred Job Requisition ID 24316 Travel Required Less than 10 Location s GF Plant - Gujarat Country India JRS India Corporation Pvt Ltd is proud to be an Equal Prospect Employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race color religion national origin ancestry age sex gender gender identity gender expression genetic information physical or mental disability medical condition sexual orientation military or veteran status marital status or any other protected status JRS India Corporation Pvt Ltd does not charge any fees money at any stage of recruitment process from candidates nor allows its authorized recruitment consultant s to collect any fees from any candidates Please approach our India HR team if you have been asked to pay any such fees by anyone
