Job Details Quality Manager - Transformer Manufacturing Company The Quality Manager oversees all quality-related activities in the transformer manufacturing process to ensure that products meet industry standards IS IEC customer specifications and internal quality benchmarks This role involves managing the QC team monitoring production quality handling audits and ensuring continuous improvement in processes Key Responsibilities1 Quality Management Compliance Develop and implement quality standards procedures and inspection systems Ensure compliance with IS IEC standards customer specifications and statutory requirements Conduct internal audits and support external audits ISO 9001 BIS etc 2 Quality Control in Production Monitor quality at all production stages Core building Coil winding Tank fabrication Assembly Oil filtration filling Testing Approve incoming raw materials CRGO copper oil bushings etc through IQC checks Review and approve in-process and final inspection reports FTR 3 Testing Inspection Oversee routine type and special testing Ratio test Vector group test IR test HV LV winding resistance Impulse test if applicable Temperature rise test Ensure proper calibration of testing equipment 4 Customer Coordination Handle customer inspections Factory Acceptance Tests Address customer complaints and oversee root-cause analysis RCA Ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions CAPA 5 Documentation Reporting Maintain quality records test reports NCR logs CAPA reports and audit reports Prepare monthly MIS on rejection rework and process improvement 6 Team Leadership Lead and train quality inspectors and testing engineers Develop skill training programs for production and QC staff 7 Continuous Improvement Implement lean tools 5S KAIZEN Poka-Yoke Monitor reduction in rejection rate breakdowns and process variations Required Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing process Understanding of IS IEC standards quality tools and testing procedures Leadership and team management skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking Proficiency in MS Excel reporting and documentation Qualification Experience B E Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 5-10 years experience in Quality Control Quality Assurance in a transformer company Location of Posting -Meerut Experience required -5 to 10 Years Salary Budget Min-Max Range 40 to 80 K Experience based No of vacancy -2 Fresher Considered Yes No -No Education Profile- Graduation - BB E Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Personal Attributes -Pleasing Personality Communication Skills -Positive writing Speaking Languages Known English Hindi Key Competencies Knowledge Skills Attitude Behavior Should have Experience of Transformer Company Send your CV (phone hidden) (phone hidden) Mail Resume - hr careerplus-jobs com Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
