Country Region IN Requisition ID 31536 Work Model Position Type Salary Range Location INDIA - NOIDA- BIRLASOFT OFFICE Title Oracle DBA Description Area s of responsibility Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator DBA to manage and maintain our company s Oracle database systems The Oracle DBA will be responsible for ensuring the performance availability and security of clusters of Oracle instances You will be in charge of the development and sustainment of the Oracle servers including implementation of new data designs backup recovery strategies monitoring system health and performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise Your ultimate goal will be to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users Responsibilities Manage and maintain all Oracle database instances across development staging and production environments Ensure database performance availability and security Perform database upgrades and patches and manage database backups and recovery Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure optimal performance of the database setting Required Skills Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration The candidate must have a strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and system design Experience with Oracle RAC ASM and Data Guard The candidate should have hands-on experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters Automatic Storage Management and Data Guard Strong SQL and PL SQL skills The candidate should have a solid understanding of SQL and PL SQL programming languages The candidate must have a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Preferred Skills Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate for data replication Familiarity with Oracle Exadata Machine Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM for database management Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite EBS Knowledge of Unix Linux operating systems Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports Experience with Oracle Performance Tuning Knowledge of Oracle Backup and Recovery techniques Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Understanding of Oracle Business Intelligence BI tools Required Experience 15-25yrs
