ob Title GIS Engineer Survey CAD Designer Draftsman Location Hyderabad Duties and Responsibilities Interpret and convert survey and topographic data into engineering CAD drawings using AutoCAD MicroStation and Open Roads Designer ORD Create and manage CAD-based topographical maps base maps terrain models and thematic layers using Civil 3D AutoCAD or MicroStation Work closely with civil engineers highway designers and planners to integrate data with design models Develop maintain and analyse spatial datasets including roads utilities parcels drainage and contours Conduct terrain modelling surface creation and corridor modelling using Open Roads Designer or Civil 3D Manage and georeferenced raster imagery LiDAR drone data and survey files Support the preparation of as-built drawings alignment sheets right-of-way plans and land acquisition plans Perform quality checks on deliverables to ensure accuracy consistency and compliance with project standards and client requirements Coordinate with field survey teams civil designers and analysts to ensure timely project delivery Assist in automating workflows and data conversion processes between CAD BIM environments Education and Experience Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering Geomatics Geography or a related discipline 2-5 years of experience in GIS and CAD-based drafting or design in infrastructure transportation projects Required Skills and Software Proficiency AutoCAD -3D drafting topographic plans road alignment drawings MicroStation - Base mapping plan production Open Roads Designer ORD - Corridor modelling terrain surface tools quantity take-offs Exposure to Civil 3D ArcGIS QGIS - Spatial data processing map creation coordinate transformations MS Excel Word - Data handling and documentation Familiarity with survey file formats e g CSV SHP DXF DGN LAS and GIS coordinate systems UTM WGS84 etc Preferred Nice-to-Have Experience with LiDAR data processing and point cloud integration Exposure to Global Mapper or Drone Deploy Behavioural Attributes Strong attention to detail and spatial accuracy Good communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Willingness to work in a collaborative and fast-paced project environment Job Type Full time Pay 144 391 70 - 600 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Expected Start Date 02 10 2025
