Job Title: Printer Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printer Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair printers and multifunction devices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with laser, inkjet, thermal, and network printers, along with strong technical and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain printers, multifunction printers (MFPs), scanners, and related peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related printer issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of printers.
- Replace faulty components such as rollers, fusers, imaging units, print heads, and cartridges.
- Configure printer drivers, network settings, and print servers.
- Troubleshoot print quality, paper jams, connectivity, and performance issues.
- Provide in office and remote technical support to users.
- Maintain service records, repair logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for warranty repairs and escalations.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
- Train end users on proper printer operation and basic troubleshooting.
