Technical Installation Supervisor and Sports Surfaces

Job Summary
The Technical Installation Supervisor will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing the installation of sports surfaces including Artificial Turf, Synthetic PU Running Tracks, Acrylic Courts, EPDM Rubber Flooring, Modular Sports Flooring, and other sports
infrastructure systems.

The role requires ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to manufacturer specifications, timely project completion, effective labour management, and proper maintenance of company machinery and tools while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities .

1. Site Execution

Supervise installation of Artificial Turf systems.
Supervise installation of Synthetic PU Running Tracks.
Supervise Acrylic Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball and Multi-purpose Courts.
Supervise EPDM Rubber Flooring and Shock Pad installations.
Ensure proper line marking as per international standards.
Verify site levels, slopes, drainage, and base preparation before installation.
Conduct site measurements and quantity verification.
Ensure projects are completed within planned timelines.

2. Quality Control





Ensure installation complies with manufacturer specifications and project drawings.
Maintain required surface levels, flatness, and tolerances.
Inspect adhesives, PU binders, seam joints, turf infill, and finishing quality. Minimize rework through continuous quality inspections.
Maintain installation checklists and quality records.

3. Planning & Coordination
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors. Plan manpower deployment and daily work schedules.
Monitor labour productivity and project progress.
Ensure timely availability of materials, machinery, and tools.
Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR) with photographs.

4. Machinery & Tools Management

Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of installation machinery and
tools.

Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Maintain inventory of tools, machinery, and consumables.
Coordinate servicing and repairs whenever required.
Ensure safe transportation, storage, and handling of company equipment. Maintain machinery service and usage records.
Prevent loss, misuse, or damage of company assets.

5. Health & Safety
Enforce PPE usage and safe working practices.
Ensure proper handling of adhesives, chemicals, and equipment.
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

6. Client Coordination

Attend site meetings with clients and consultants.
Explain installation progress and resolve technical queries.
Obtain stage-wise approvals during execution.
Assist in final inspections and project handover.

7. Documentation
Maintain accurate project records including:
Daily Progress Reports
Labour Attendance
Material Consumption Reports
Equipment Maintenance Records
Installation Checklists
Snag Lists
Completion Reports
As-built Measurements

Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
ITI or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience
0 - 3 years of experience in sports surface installation,



civil construction, or related infrastructure projects.

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
Artificial Turf Installation
Synthetic PU Running Tracks
Acrylic Sports Courts
EPDM Rubber Flooring
Sports Flooring Systems

Skills Required
Sound knowledge of sports surface installation techniques.
Ability to read engineering and construction drawings.
Proficiency in Auto Level/Laser Level operation.
Basic AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
Strong leadership and labour management skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Problem-solving ability.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: 25,000 -30,000 per month (depending on experience and technical capability).

Annual performance-based salary review.
Travel, accommodation, and daily allowances as per company policy for outstation assignments.
