Position: Safety Officer

Employment Type: Contractual Basis

Shift Duration: 12 hour shift (Rotational or as per operational requirements)

Job Responsibilitiies:

1. Installation: Lay out, assemble, install, and test electrical wiring, conduits, fixtures, and control appliances.

2. Maintenance: Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair.

3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment like voltmeters and ohmmeters.

4. Blueprints: Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics to plan wiring layouts.

5. Safety & Compliance: Follow national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.

6. Repairs: Fix or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, switches,



and other electrical hardware.

Required Qualifications & Skills

1. Education: ITI/Diploma Electrical.

2. Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience working as a residential, commercial, or industrial electrician.

3. Licensing: Valid electrician license or certification from a state or local regulatory authority.

4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic instruments.

5. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces.

6. Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotating shifts and respond to emergency night calls.
