JD For Landscaping Manager Job Title Landscaping Manager Experience 5 to 10 Years Location Chennai Industry Preference Hospitality Construction Real Estate Availability Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Manager to independently manage and execute medium to large-scale residential and commercial landscaping and irrigation projects The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of horticultural practices plant knowledge and modern irrigation systems Prior experience in the hotel construction or real estate industry is highly desirable Key Responsibilities Independently manage end-to-end landscaping and irrigation projects - from planning to execution Lead a team of landscape supervisors gardeners and contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery Prepare and manage project budgets timelines and resource allocation Coordinate with architects clients and vendors to meet project specifications and expectations Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design safety and quality standards Select appropriate plant species soil and materials based on project requirements and local conditions Implement and oversee irrigation systems - both manual and automated - ensuring effective water management Stay updated with latest trends in landscaping sustainable practices and new horticultural techniques Key Skills Competencies Proven experience in independently handling landscaping and irrigation projects medium to large scale Strong knowledge of plants horticultural practices soil management and irrigation systems Excellent project management and site coordination skills Ability to read and interpret landscape architectural drawings Proficiency in resource planning budgeting and vendor management Effective leadership team management and communication skills Familiarity with local climate and plant suitability in Chennai Tamil Nadu region is a plus Preferred Industry Background Hospitality Hotels Resorts Construction Infrastructure Real Estate Property Development Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Horticulture Agriculture Landscape Architecture or related field Certifications in landscape design irrigation preferred but not mandatory Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Work Location In person
