we make it happen with our customers where we work and live Together we are building a better world so we can all enjoy living in it As a Releasing Engineer will check drawings and engineering notices for completeness accuracy and conformance to established Engineering Standards and practices Responsibilities The releaser is required to systematically review and check the new releases Changes with conformance to CPPS and Business Unit requirements Processing approving drawings and notices through EDS Teamcenter Ensure Engineering notices are filled out properly and that they convey all necessary information to downstream partners and users To produce optimum results in terms of timely completion of packages with high quality Collaborate with product group Engineers and product change control coordinators To guide and provide solutions to Engineers and other groups on EDS releasing process and Releasing rejections Some of the other responsibility that includes collaboration with Global Engineers on Releasing practices and standards Developing standard work instructions and deploying and updating the best practice process documents Keep up to date of changes that are made to Corporate Product and Process Standards and Business unit releasing requirements Degree Requirement Associate or Bachelor degree in any Engineering curriculum Skill Descriptors Accuracy and Attention to Detail Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision Level Working Knowledge 1 to 3 years of Engineering experience Familiarity with product change control process SAP ssytems Working Knowledge on Teamcenter related processes Good Problem-Solving Skills Accountability Self-Motivated Team Player Ability to communicate effectively Requires good drawing reading skills Optional Programming skills to write create scripts in MS Excel Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free Effective Communications Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours Level Working Knowledge Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviours without offending the recipient Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups Maintaining Focus Understanding of the importance of keeping sight of current responsibilities and ability to bring thoughts and tasks to completion Level Working Knowledge Demonstrates the ability to maintain focus for specific activities Under guidance clears unnecessary distractions creates new habits and includes positive patterns in routines Plans day writes out daily task list Maintains a journal of relevant activities to see progress and stay motivated Surrounds self with people that have similar goals Problem Solving Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations Level Working Knowledge Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information Helps to analyse risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems Teamwork Knowledge of the necessity and value of teamwork experience with ability to work cooperatively towards shared goals and being supportive of others at all levels Level Working Knowledge Explains own role and responsibility within team Actively participates in team meetings Shares information knowledge and experiences openly and proactively Describes team mission and objectives in the context of results to be achieved Demonstrates open friendly accepting and supportive behaviours with team members Relocation is available for this position Posting Dates September 30 2025 -
