Palwal Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations for wooden cable drums The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning coordinating and controlling the production process to ensure efficient timely and cost-effective manufacturing while maintaining high quality and safety standards Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and deadlines Supervise and lead production teams including machine operators carpenters and assembly workers Ensure effective use of resources raw materials machinery manpower to maximize output and minimize waste Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials timber hardware etc Implement and enforce safety and quality control standards throughout the production line Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly Maintain accurate production reports downtime logs and performance metrics Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations Liaise with design maintenance and logistics teams for smooth operational flow Requirements Bachelor s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Production Management or related field 15 years of experience in a manufacturing setup preferably in wood or cable drum industry Robust knowledge of wood processing assembly techniques and quality standards Proven leadership and team management skills Familiarity with production planning software tools and lean manufacturing principles Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills Preferred Skills Knowledge of timber grading drying and preservation techniques Experience with ISO standards and safety audits Understanding of CNC wood machinery if applicable Experience 15 - 25 Years Salary 8 Lac To 12 Lac P A Industry Wires Cables Qualification B Com B Tech Key Skills Wooden Cable Drums Timber Products Manufacturing Wooden Cable Drums Product Quality Safety Pharma Production Strategic Communication Food Technology Material Planning Automobile Production Planning Control Factory Operations Manpower Handling Problem Solving Apparel Industry Leadership Skills Coordination Skills Daily Production Planning Team Management Skills
