Who we are We re a leading global security authority that s disrupting our own category Our encryption is trusted by the major ecommerce brands the world s largest companies the major cloud providers entire country financial systems entire internets of things and even down to the little things like surgically embedded pacemakers We help companies put trust - an abstract idea - to work That s digital trust for the real world Job summary We are looking for a software engineering manager to lead manage and grow our high performing team that is responsible for our public trust services platform This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the technical direction strategic planning and execution of key projects while fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture This role also entails working closely with senior leadership product management and other stakeholders What you will do Collaborate with agile cross-functional teams in the technical planning and strategy of large-scale backend systems with a focus on secure and high-availability services supporting Public Key Infrastructure PKI Assume accountability for the efficient delivery of new features and functionality with uptime compliance and quality in mind Develop a deep understanding of PKI products architecture and systems Understand compliance standards to ensure deliverables meet industry expectations Manage and grow highly capable engineering teams What you will have 10 years of experience in software development including 5 years in technical leadership or engineering management Experience with leading teams and large scale cross functional software projects Excellent communication collaboration and presentation skills Experience with Java and REST APIs Experience with both relational MySQL MariaDB and NoSQL Cassandra databases Proven ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across time zones fostering alignment communication and productivity in remote and hybrid environments Robust knowledge of software engineering best-practices Nice to have Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a related field Or equivalent experience Experience with availability zones and distributed systems Technologies we use extensively - experience will be a plus Java 17 SpringBoot and Spring Framework Cassandra MariaDB Kafka Docker Jenkins Git and Github Understanding of SSL PKI and other security related technologies Benefits Generous time off policies Top shelf benefits Education wellness and lifestyle support LI-SS1
