About the Role

Arjun Global is seeking an experienced Business Consultant Financial Markets to drive strategic business development initiatives within the financial services sector. The role involves building and nurturing relationships with global market participants, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the expansion of financial market services across India and international markets.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Indian capital markets ecosystem, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across the financial industry.

Role & Responsibilities

- Drive business development initiatives to expand the organisation's presence within the financial markets ecosystem.
- Build and maintain relationships with global institutional investors, custodians, asset managers, brokers, exchanges, and other financial market participants.
- Engage with international stakeholders to promote the India growth story and create awareness of opportunities within India's financial markets.
- Identify new markets, business segments, and strategic opportunities for business expansion.
- Develop and execute market entry and client acquisition strategies in untapped and emerging markets.
- Conduct market research and analyse industry trends, regulatory developments,



and competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and execute business growth strategies.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and strategic reports for prospective clients and stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation at industry conferences, networking events, client meetings, and business forums.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of strategic business initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Custody Services, Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of Indian and global financial markets.
- Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with senior executives and international market participants in a rapid-paced environment.
