Generative AI is reshaping how creative professionals ideate, explore, and produce work. Illustrator is investing in the next generation of GenAI-powered workflows spanning generation, transformation, and refinement of vector content that expand creative possibilities while preserving the precision and control that define the product.

This role sits at the intersection of generative AI, creative tooling, and end-to-end user workflows. You will work closely with engineering, design, and research to build experiences that put state-of-the-art generative models directly into the hands of designers, in ways that feel natural, controllable, and production-ready.

What Youll Do

- Own roadmap and execution for GenAI-powered workflow capabilities in Illustrator, with a 9 to 18 month horizon.
- Drive features from concept through launch, including prioritization, rollout, and post-launch iteration based on usage, model quality, and creative output signals.
- Translate user research, beta feedback, and product signals into clear requirements and roadmap decisions for generative experiences.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, research, and applied science teams to setup evaluation frameworks that meet a high bar for creative quality and reliability.
- Define success metrics spanning adoption, output quality, and user trust and use them to drive product and model improvements.
- Collaborate across Adobe teams,



Firefly model partners, and external platform partners on generative AI capabilities and shared infrastructure.

What You Need to Succeed

- 8 to 12 years of experience, including 6+ years in product management.
- Experience shipping generative AI product capabilities image, text, video, or vector to production.
- Strong working knowledge of generative model behavior, including prompting, conditioning, fine-tuning, evaluation, and the tradeoffs between quality, latency, and cost.
- Strong product judgment and analytical skills, including comfort interpreting model quality metrics and user signals together.
- Robust research and synthesis skills.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous and fast-moving environments where the underlying model capabilities are evolving rapidly.
- Experience with creative tools, developer platforms, APIs, or workflow products is a plus.
- MBA preferred, or equivalent business experience.

What Will Make You Stand Out

The strongest candidates will have shipped a generative AI feature in a consumer or creative product and iterated post-launch based on output-quality and adoption metrics. They likely have experience working directly with applied research or model teams, shaping how a foundation model is exposed in product, and balancing creative expressiveness with controllability, safety, and IP considerations.
