Job Description

1. Identify the best service contractors / vendors for Topo survey, Hydrology survey, Pile testing, Pile Foundation works, MMSSPV Installation, AC-DC Works, MCR, ICR Civil Foundation works, Roads, Lighting Works, MCS Works for the solar project.
2. Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
3. Manage the purchasing process including recent vendor development, negotiations, and procurement activities.
4. Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating the best possible deal with them, and handling contract negotiations.
5.



Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
6. Overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities and monthly scheduling with vendors, managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
7. Communicate with the marketing and engineering team for ongoing projects and new projects regarding their supply/service needs.
8. Liasoning closely with planning, quality functions, inventory control, and other Stakeholders to ensure On-Time Delivery & First Time Right Quality.
9. To follow up with finance for suppliers timely payments.
10. Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
11. Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
