Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with experience in web applications to ensure the quality and reliability of mission-critical hospital systems. The candidate should have robust expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and healthcare workflow validation.

This role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver high-quality software used in hospitals and clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement robust automation frameworks for web applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium / Cypress / Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Conduct API testing and automation using Postman / RestAssured / Karate.
- Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
- Execute cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Validate end-to-end hospital workflows (Patient Registration, OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Billing, Laboratory, Radiology).
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub / GitLab).
- Prepare test plans, test strategies, and automation reports.

- 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing
- Strong experience in Automation Testing
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver / Cypress / Playwright
- Programming knowledge in C# / Python
- Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Mocha / PyTest frameworks
- Strong experience in API Testing (Postman / RestAssured / SoapUI)
- Knowledge of MSSQL & MongoDB for database testing
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA / Azure DevOps / Bugzilla)
- Experience with Git version control
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

- Experience in HIMS / EMR / EHR / Healthcare Applications
- Understanding of hospital workflows (OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Lab, Billing, Radiology)
- Knowledge of HL7 / FHIR healthcare standards
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter / K6)

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent.
