Position: Quality Analyst (QA) Medical Billing (Charge Posting & Payment Posting)Department: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Analyst (QA) to support our Medical Billing operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Charge Posting and Payment Posting, with the ability to perform quality audits, identify process gaps, ensure compliance with client requirements, and drive continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform quality audits of Charge Posting and Payment Posting transactions.
- Ensure compliance with client SOPs, payer guidelines, and internal quality standards.
- Review patient demographics, insurance information, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers, POS, DOS, provider details, EOBs, ERAs, contractual adjustments, denials, and patient responsibility.
- Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and provide corrective feedback to the operations team.
- Maintain QA scorecards, audit reports, and quality dashboards.
- Conduct calibration sessions with Operations and Team Leaders.
- Monitor quality trends and recommend process improvements.
- Support current hire training, refresher sessions, and quality coaching.
- Coordinate with Charge Posting, Payment Posting, Billing, Coding, and AR teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure all audits are completed within defined turnaround times (TAT).

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process.




- Hands-on experience in Charge Posting and Payment Posting.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, Modifiers, POS, EOB, ERA, CARC, and RARC.
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines, contractual adjustments, patient responsibility, denials, refunds, unapplied payments, and offset postings.
- Experience working with Practice Management systems such as Tebra, NextGen, ECW, Azalea, Epic, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Employment Type: Full-TimeExperience Required:

- 5-8 years of experience in US Healthcare Medical Billing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Analyst (QA) in Charge Posting and or Payment Posting.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Certification in Medical Billing/Coding will be an added advantage.
