Experience: Min 12 Years as Sr Structure Design Engineer
Structure Type: RCC, STEEL & Composite (majorly into Buildings)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Performs detailed design of civil/structural works using applicable industry standards and specific design codes such as ACI, UBC, ASCE-7, AISC, etc.
- Perform simulation and analysis of structural design components using STAAD III. Develop detailed civil/structural drawings and BOMs.
- Prepare construction scope of work, request for quotations, evaluate bid and vendor proposals and pricing and perform budget estimates for in-house engineering proposals
- Design structures using various computer software applications, charts and curves.
- Prepares design calculation and cost estimates for proposed designs in the bidding process. Develops test procedures, observes testing and write test reports as a prelude to full scale testing for structures and components per customer requirement and/or R&D; procedures.
- Prepares overall site development design criteria and other scooping documents related to civil and structural design work.
- Perform squad check of drawings from other engineering discipline as part of interdisciplinary QA/QC exercise.
- Prepares list of engineering deliverables and man-hour requirements for each task. Meet and coordinate client engineers and personnel for design review and gathering technical data.
- Coordinate with other Lead Engineers about the scope of work for each task.

- Experience of Handling a Team of 8-10 Engineers & Draftsman
- Experience of Designing large scale projects such as Medical Hospital, Residential Societies. High rise commercial and residential complex as Project Manager or Lead Engineer
