SMC Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in the insurance broking industry, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Employee Benefit Underwriter to join our Corporate Sales division. This role requires in-depth understanding of employee benefit insurance products and the ability to structure customized solutions for corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Underwrite group insurance policies including Group Health Insurance, Group Term Life Insurance, and Group Personal Accident covers.
- Analyze client requirements and design appropriate insurance solutions in collaboration with the corporate sales team.
- Evaluate risk exposures and determine appropriate pricing and terms in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
- Liaise with insurance companies for quote generation, benefit structuring, and policy negotiations.




- Support client servicing and relationship management teams with technical inputs related to employee perks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 2+years of experience in underwriting Employee Benefit products within an insurance company or insurance broking firm.
- Strong knowledge of group insurance products including benefit structures, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory framework.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage client expectations effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
