Republic Media Network looking for a skilled and dynamic Non-Linear Editor (NLE Editor) to join its newsroom production team. The ideal candidate should possess strong editorial judgment, excellent storytelling abilities through visuals, and the capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced television news setting.

The candidate must have hands-on expertise in AVID and prior experience working with a National TV news channel.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit news packages, bulletins, breaking news content, special shows, debates, and feature stories.
- Deliver high-quality edits within stringent newsroom timelines and live broadcast requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Producers Graphics teams to ensure timely content delivery.
- Create visually engaging and editorially accurate news stories using available footage, graphics, sound bites, and archive content.
- Handle fast-turnaround editing requirements during breaking news situations.
- Ensure adherence to channel editorial guidelines and broadcast standards.




- Work with graphics teams to integrate lower thirds, supers, templates, and visual elements into packages.
- Maintain proper file management and archival practices.
- Support special programming, election coverage, and major events with quick turnaround edits.

4 to 8 Years of experience as an NLE Editor in a National TV News Channel.

- Mandatory hands-on experience in AVID tool.
- Prior experience in television news production is compulsory.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Comfortable working in rotational shifts, including weekends and breaking news situations.
