- We are looking for an Assembly & Testing Engineer with a strong electronics background to own the final assembly and end-of-line testing of our EV chargers. You will assemble and test finished units, solder and debug PCBs down to component level, develop circuitry for specific solutions, and provide technical support to the field and service teams ensuring every charger that leaves our facility is safe, functional, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final assembly of AC and DC EV chargers wiring, PCB and module mounting, connectors, and enclosure fit-out as per drawings and work instructions.
- Conduct end-of-line testing of fully assembled chargers: functional tests, power-on tests, insulation/earth checks, charging-cycle validation, and fault simulation.
- Solder PCBs (through-hole and SMD)
and rework/repair boards during production and servicing.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues at system, board, and component level using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and standard test equipment; identify root cause and close issues.
- Develop and modify circuitry for specific solutions test jigs, interface circuits, and small design changes in coordination with the R&D; team.
- Provide technical support to field service, customer support, and installation teams for charger-related issues, remotely and in office when required.
- Maintain test records, rework logs, and quality documentation; report recurring defects to the design team for corrective action.
