We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance Shared Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Accounts Payable knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with onshore stakeholders while ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with onshore teams and stakeholders.
- Build solid working relationships and gain stakeholder confidence through timely and accurate delivery of assigned tasks.
- Process PO and Non-PO invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform invoice uploads and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
- Review and audit invoices to ensure compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain Accounts Payable reports and dashboards.
- Monitor AP performance metrics and support KPI management.
- Allocate work within the team and monitor completion of assigned tasks.
- Coach and mentor team members to improve productivity and process adherence.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and established AP processes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 24 years of experience in Accounts Payable operations.
- Strong understanding of PO and Non-PO invoice processing.
- Experience in work allocation, invoice review/audits, reporting, and KPI management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a Shared Services or Global Business Services environment.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting platforms.
- Understanding of Accounts Payable controls and compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder management and customer-service orientation.
