OverviewThe Senior Executive will be responsible for supporting day-to-day taxation, accounting, and compliance activities for a diverse client portfolio. The role involves preparing tax returns, maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, assisting in audits, and ensuring timely statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical knowledge of taxation and accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR), TDS returns, and GST returns.
- Assist in the preparation of Tax Audit Reports and statutory compliances.
- Maintain books of accounts and pass accounting entries accurately.
- Perform bank, GST, TDS, and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
- Prepare documentation for Form 15CA/15CB and foreign remittance compliances.
- Support tax assessments, audits,
and statutory filings by compiling required data.
- Coordinate with clients for collecting financial information and compliance documents.
- Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely submission of statutory returns.
- Keep records and supporting documents organized for audit and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for coordinating with team members
Qualifications
- Semi qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of income tax, GST, TDS, and DTAA.
- Proficiency in MS office
- Basic knowledge of accounting software like Tally, Genius.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
