This is an ideal role for an experienced litigator looking to transition into a strategic advisory position, offering deep legal expertise without the daily grind of courtroom appearances.

Key Responsibilities

1. Litigation Strategy & Oversight

Evaluate & Advise: Assess active and threatened claims, providing explicit, actionable risk-benefit analyses to executive leadership.

External Counsel Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external law firms. Manage their budgets, monitor their performance, and align their courtroom strategies with our business goals.

Case Preparation: Oversee internal discovery processes, coordinate witness interviews, and review key pleadings, motions, and briefs before filing.

2. Dispute Resolution & Settlement

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): Lead or represent the companys interests in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.

Settlement Evaluation: Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, ensuring terms protect the company from future liabilities.

3. Risk Mitigation & Advisory

Root Cause Analysis: Analyze past disputes to identify systemic operational risks and collaborate with internal teams to implement preventative policies.

Executive Guidance: Act as a trusted partner to business units,



advising them on how to navigate everyday commercial disputes before they escalate to formal litigation.

Qualification

- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- Additional certification in corporate or commercial law will be an advantage.

Experience

- 8+years of experience of litigation , ideally within a reputable law firm or as in-house ligation counsel ,
- Deep understanding of civil procedures, discovery rules, and trial advocacy
