Role & responsibilities

- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom tower sites to ensure maximum uptime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical, electronic, and telecom systems at sites.
- Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency measures to reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during all site activities.
- Supervise partner technicians and validate the quality of their work.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, site performance, and fault reports.
- Coordinate with the Area Operations Manager for escalations and reporting.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades at tower sites.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore services within defined SLAs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.




- Experience: 28 years in telecom infrastructure operations & maintenance, preferably with tower site exposure.

- Technical Skills:
- Operations & Maintenance of telecom tower sites
- Electrical systems and power management
- Preventive & corrective maintenance
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Energy efficiency practices
- Familiarity with remote monitoring tools/software
- Certifications: Safety compliance certifications (electrical safety, OHS standards) preferred.
- Soft Skills: Solid problem-solving ability, effective communication, team collaboration, and vendor/technician supervision.
- Work Environment: Willingness to travel to tower sites, ability to work in outdoor conditions, and flexibility for emergency call-outs.
