MSCs Global Health Nutrition Practice works to strengthen nutrition outcomes across food, health, and livelihoods systems. We invite candidates interested in contributing to nutrition-centred policy, programmes, and partnerships that support lasting change across emerging markets.
This role is part of MSCs Global Health Nutrition Capability and focuses on leading consulting and technical assistance engagements in nutrition, and food security. The Manager will work with governments, donors, and multilaterals to design, implement, and evaluate large-scale programs. The candidate will conduct policy analysis, generate research and frameworks, and provide technical guidance to shape evidence-based solutions. The role also includes business development, managing client relationships, mentoring team members, and contributing to thought leadership that strengthens public health collaboration with governments, donors, and multilateral organisations nutrition systems across emerging markets.
Professional Experience Sector Knowledge
- Strong understanding of global and regional nutrition policies, food systems, and donor landscapes, with ability to translate evidence into program and policy design.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Nutrition program design and evaluation, including large-scale food fortification, biofortification, and dietary diversification initiatives.
- Maternal, child, and adolescent health nutrition interventions, including SBCC strategies, demand generation, and uptake of services.
- Design and implementation of integrated health and nutrition-sensitive programs,
with a focus on models that incorporate womens empowerment and climate action.
- Integrated Nutrition and Health systems strengthening, including integration of nutrition within primary health care, maternal and child nutrition outcomes, and monitoring systems.
- Proven ability to lead the development of high-impact proposals, research studies, and technical publications.
- Track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects with governments, donors, and multilaterals; existing relationships are a strong advantage.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and primary/secondary research skills.
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong collaboration abilities to lead and mentor teams effectively.
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for advancing health, nutrition, and food security outcomes.
Technical proficiency
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Hindi (knowledge of other Indian languages is an advantage).
Educational Qualification
- Post-graduate or masters degree in nutrition, dietetics or food sciences, food technology or MA/MSC/MBA in public health, development studies, public policy, social policy, or other related fields with a focus on applied nutrition/nutrition policy
