Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified CA Inter / CMA Inter skilled with 7-12 years of post-CA Inter / CMA Inter experience in costing & MIS within the manufacturing industry. The incumbent will be responsible for product/plant costing, cost analysis, inventory valuation, MIS reporting, and supporting management in cost optimization initiatives.

Role & responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain product-wise and process-wise cost sheets.
- Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis for raw materials, production, and overheads.
- Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare monthly costing MIS and management reports.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation with finance and stores teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning exercises.
- Analyze standard costing and actual costing variances.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and finance teams for cost data collection and validation.




- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities related to costing.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing costing-related information and reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Qualification: CA Inter/CMA Inter (Mandatory).
- Experience: 7-12 years of relevant experience in costing after completion of CA Inter/CMA Inter.
- Industry Preference: Manufacturing industry, preferably steel, metals, or any other manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting, and MIS reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/other ERP).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
