Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end SAP Basis administration for systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and Fiori.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, support packages, kernel upgrades, and migrations (OS/DB, HANA).
- Monitor system performance and availability, and proactively resolve issues.
- Manage SAP transports, client copies, system refreshes, and backups.
- Implement and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with functional and development teams for issue resolution and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and audit requirements.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and best practices.
- Provide on-call support and participate in scheduled maintenance activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or related field.
- 8–10 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience in large-scale SAP environments.
- Solid knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and HANA database administration.
- Experience with SAP system copies, upgrades, and migrations (including SUM, SWPM, and DMO tools).
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP Cloud Connector.
- Familiarity with content server.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager (7.2) for monitoring and diagnostics.
- Understanding of SAP security concepts and GRC integration.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
