THE ROLE

The International Nurses Enrollment & Placement Manager will provide on-the-ground support, leveraging Localized Expertise to manage sourcing activities that are challenging to execute remotely from the US. This role focuses on proactive Talent Identification, Relationship Building with Local Institutions, and Initial Candidate Screening.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

- Localized Expertise: In-depth understanding of the local educational system, cultural nuances, and key networking hubs (schools, hospitals, group associations and review centers)
- Deep Talent Sourcing: Dedicated focus on proactive sourcing, including in-person school visits and career fair representation
- Cultural Alignment: Engages Indian nurses who possess excellent English proficiency and a service-oriented culture

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will primarily be in charge of:

- Outreach Activities
- Establish Key Partnerships: Identify and build strategic relationships with top Nursing Schools, Universities, Associations and review centers across major Indian cities
- Coordinate Career Events: Organize, attend, and represent TruMerit at Campus Career Fairs, Recruitment Seminars, and Networking Events
- Maintain Database: Create and maintain a local database of institutions and key contact persons (Deans, Placement Officers) for ongoing sourcing efforts
- Candidate Sourcing & Networking
- Targeted Sourcing: Proactively identify recent Nursing Graduates and Indian Registered Nurses (RNs) who are actively pursuing nursing career abroad
- Social Media & Community Engagement:



Manage and grow a local recruitment presence on relevant professional networking sites, forums, and groups popular with Indian nurses
- Initial Candidate Screening: Conduct initial informational calls/interviews to assess candidate commitment, English communication skills, and progress toward US and other geographic regional licensure requirements (eg, NCLEX, IELTS / TOEFL, and other country specific onboarding requirements)
- Administrative & logistical Support
- Local Document Collection: Assist shortlisted candidates with the local gathering and verification of preliminary documents (transcripts, licenses, employment certificates)
- Liaison Services: Serve as the primary point of contact for local candidates, answering initial questions about the recruitment process, life in the destination country, and general program details
- Reporting: Provide weekly reports to the global recruitment team on Sourcing Metrics, School Partnership Progress, and Candidate Pipeline Status

CANDIDATE PROFILE

EDUCATION AND PRIOR EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's Degree (ideally in Nursing or HR) or proven experience in local recruitment/staffing
- Familiarity with the Indian nursing education and licensure process (NCLEX, Visas, Immigration Sponsorship, etc)
- Training will be provided if needed
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, solid networking and relationship-building skills, highly organized
