Role & responsibilities

Perform RAMS analysis for system and subsystem level designs.

- Prepare RAMS plans, hazard logs, and safety case documentation.
- Conduct:
- FMEA / FMECA
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Reliability Prediction
- Risk Assessment
- Functional Safety Analysis

- Define and monitor RAMS requirements during project execution.
- Support SIL assessment and safety integrity activities.
- Coordinate with hardware ,software teams and audit team for safety compliance.
- Review system architecture from RAMS and safety perspectives.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and certification activities.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as:

- EN50126 / EN50128 / EN50129
- IEC61508

- Prepare technical reports and customer documentation.




- Support third-party assessors and vendors and certification agencies.
- Analyse field failure data and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain hazard tracking and closure records.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

- Railway systems (PSD, Signalling, TCMS)
- Embedded controllers and communication protocols
- Reliability calculations and analysis
- EMC/EMI and environmental standards
- Requirement management tools such as:
- DOORS
- Polarion
- JIRA

- Knowledge of configuration management and change control
