Key Responsibilities

- Cover important social, family, cultural, and political events from your city and state.

- Identify and develop compelling story ideas relevant to our readers.

- Conduct interviews with individuals, experts, and public figures.

- Gather accurate information through field reporting and research.

- Write engaging, factual, and reader-friendly articles in simple Hindi.

- Submit stories, photographs, and supporting information within agreed timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

- Minimum: Graduation in any discipline.

- Preferred: Post-Graduation.

Experience

- Prior experience with a news media organization is preferred.

- Candidates currently working with news media are encouraged to apply.

- Applicants with an active and credible social media presence showcasing news or public-interest content may also be considered.

Skills Required

- Excellent command of simple and grammatically correct Hindi.

- Ability to write in a clear,



reader-friendly style while avoiding overly Sanskritized language.

- Strong reporting, interviewing, and communication skills.

- Good observation, networking, and fact-gathering abilities.

- Neat and legible handwriting is preferred.

Preferred Age

- Preferably below 40 years.

- Exceptional candidates above 40 years are also welcome to apply.

Essential Requirements

- Own two-wheeler for local reporting.

- Smartphone with a valuable-quality camera.

- Laptop or desktop computer with internet access.

- Willingness to travel within the assigned city/state for reporting assignments.
