About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented qualified to join our Import team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of products, hands-on experience in import merchandising, and excellent negotiation skills to manage suppliers and ensure timely procurement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end import procurement and merchandising activities.
- Coordinate with international suppliers for product sourcing, pricing, and order execution.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial agreements with overseas vendors.
- Evaluate product specifications and ensure technical compliance with business requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to understand product needs and market trends.
- Monitor production timelines, shipment schedules, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents,



and logistics partners to ensure smooth import operations.
- Ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers while identifying new sourcing opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, cost movements, and supplier performance to optimize procurement.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- 3-8 years of experience in Import, International Sourcing, Merchandising, or Procurement.
- Strong technical understanding of products (preferably building materials, architectural hardware, furniture fittings, glass hardware, or related engineering products).
