- Experienced Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator to oversee the design, implementation, and management of PostgreSQL database systems.
- Database Architecture & Design: Lead the design and optimization of database structures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for large-scale applications.
- Database Management: Oversee daily database operations, including backup strategies, performance tuning, security, and patch management.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex database issues and offer support to development teams for query optimization.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline database processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Capacity Planning & Upgrades: Monitor database growth and performance metrics, and manage version upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
