Momentum is building India's procurement backbone for food services. We run an end-to-end B2B platform: sourcing fresh produce and value-added food products, processing them at scale, and delivering last mile to hotels, restaurants, cafs, and institutional kitchens across India. Our clients range from leading QSR and restaurant chains to hotel groups, catering companies, and quick-commerce platforms.

What sets us apart is that we own the full chain, from farm and mandi sourcing, through certified processing facilities, to our own tech-enabled delivery fleet, rather than operating as a middleman. Alongside our enterprise supply and B2B quick-commerce arms, we run a portfolio of own brands riding the same distribution network, reflecting the depth of our operations across sourcing, processing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

- Owning end-to-end HR operations across the plant network, driving manpower planning, onboarding, attendance, and exits for both permanent and contract workforce at scale.
- Acting as the single point of accountability for CLRA (Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition Act), Factory Act, and all labour law compliance across plant locations, with the autonomy to travel and directly oversee execution at each site.
- Building and running the full contract labour lifecycle, including licensing, vendor agreements, and statutory documentation, with end-to-end ownership of the process.
- Leading blue-collar workforce strategy across Packaging, Cutting, Loading/Unloading, Transport, and ITI-trade roles, shaping how the company sources and retains its shop-floor talent.
- Driving vendor negotiations on contracts, manpower rates, and service terms, directly influencing cost efficiency and workforce quality.
- Spearheading plant administration, including facility upkeep, canteen, transport, and housekeeping,



ensuring a high-functioning work environment for hundreds of employees.
- Championing ISO 22000 and FSSAI compliance from a people and workforce practices lens, embedding quality into every layer of plant operations.
- Owning health and safety as a core charter, building training, incident response, and audit-readiness programs that protect the workforce.
- Leading and scaling HR operations across multiple plants, building and mentoring site HR teams of 5-20 people per location.
- Partnering closely with plant and warehouse leadership to shape workforce planning, shift design, and productivity-linked staffing strategies.
- Serving as the senior escalation point for employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters, setting the tone for a fair and high-trust plant culture.
- Representing the company with government labour authorities, inspectors, and statutory bodies, ensuring audit-readiness and regulatory credibility.

Requirements

- 10-15 years of progressive Plant HR leadership experience, with proven exposure to multi-plant or multi-location operations.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in CLRA, Factory Act, due diligence, and labour law compliance, a non-negotiable for this role.
- Solid track record managing contract labour and blue-collar hiring, ideally within food processing, manufacturing, or warehousing environments.
- Exposure to ISO 22000 and FSSAI compliance frameworks preferred.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships that deliver both cost efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Experience building and running health and safety programs at the plant/shop-floor level.
- A natural people leader, with experience managing and mentoring teams of 5-20 across multiple sites, including site HR leads.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating at the intersection of plant operations, warehouse, and central HR.
