Role Summary:
The HR professional will support the Head - HR and senior leadership in managing the employee lifecycle and implementing strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The role will also contribute to strengthening data-driven HR systems through analytics, automation, and responsible use of AI-enabled tools to enhance decision-making and institutional efficiency.
This position will act as a key support partner between management and employees, contributing to a compliant, structured, technology-enabled, and high-performance work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition & HR Analytics
- Support workforce planning and manpower forecasting using historical HR data and predictive analytics.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, interview scheduling, candidate communication, salary benchmarking inputs, and offer rollout.
- Assist in implementing competency-based assessment frameworks and structured evaluation tools.
- Track recruitment metrics such as TAT, cost-per-hire, offer-to-joining ratio, and hiring trend analysis.
- Leverage AI-enabled recruitment tools (where applicable) for resume screening, candidate insights, and workforce analytics.
- Support employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives using digital platforms.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management & Data Governance
- Assist in onboarding and induction processes, including digital documentation and HRIS integration.
- Support probation reviews, confirmations, promotions, transfers, and role changes through structured tracking mechanisms.
- Coordinate exit management processes, conduct attrition trend analysis,
and generate insights using HR dashboards.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
3. HR Operations, Automation & Statutory Compliance
- Support compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, leave records, and insurance processes through HR systems.
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation under guidance.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Contribute to HR process automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual dependency.
4. Performance Management & Organizational Effectiveness
- Support annual and mid-year appraisal cycles through structured coordination and documentation.
- Facilitate goal-setting templates, KPI tracking, and calibration data preparation using HR analytics tools.
- Assist managers in documentation related to underperformance and PIPs.
- Support data-backed learning & development planning based on competency gap analysis.
- Contribute to building dashboards for performance and productivity insights.
5. Employee Relations, Engagement & Insights
- Provide support in handling employee queries and routine ER matters.
- Assist in grievance documentation and resolution tracking.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and analyze survey data to derive actionable insights.
- Support diversity, inclusion, and workplace ethics initiatives using data-driven monitoring frameworks.
6. HR Policy, Systems & Digital Transformation
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and communicating HR policies and SOPs.
- Support HRMS implementation, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics for leadership review.
- Promote responsible and ethical use of AI tools in HR processes in alignment with institutional governance norms.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement through data-backed recommendations.
Educational Qualifications:
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Certifications in Labour Laws / HR Analytics / Digital HR / AI in HR (preferred).
Experience Required:
- 8+ years of experience in HR Generalist or HRBP & Operations roles.
- Exposure to employee relations, compliance, recruitment, analytics, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with HRMS platforms and data-driven reporting systems.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled HR tools or workforce analytics platforms will be an added advantage.
