Position Summary

IPE Global?s Social and Economic
Empowerment practice works towards building girl capital, empowering women and
nurturing resilient communities by creating inclusive and sustainable solutions
including but not limited to policy development, capacity building, adaptive
management, community mobilisation, behavioural change communication, deepening
social safety nets, beneficiary feedback analysis, poverty assessment, and
evidence-based monitoring.

To strengthen its portfolio of work in the
girl capital domain, IPE Global is hiring a Senior Analyst to support a project
that seeks to increase women?s participation in skill training and economic
opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth
research on relevant thematic areas such as female labour force participation,
skill development, and women?s empowerment.
- Review existing policies, frameworks, and
literature to monitor the status of women?s participation in skilling and
employment opportunities, identify emerging issues, and support in designing
targeted interventions.

- Prepare high-quality reports,
presentations, briefs, research papers and best practices to contribute to
public discourse on women?s participation in skill training and economic
opportunities.

- Support in the content development for a
knowledge portal on gender mainstreaming for formal employment.

- Support the team in program delivery and on
business development (tracking relevant opportunities in South Asia and Africa,
supporting proposal development and submission).

the Senior Analyst may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly
in line with the above key responsibilities, as determined by the senior
leadership.

Qualification Experience

Educational Background





University degree in Development Studies,
Social Sciences, Rural Development, Public Policy, Law or other relevant
disciplines.

Work Experience:

- 3?5 years of relevant experience in
research and program management, preferably in the development sector.

- Showcase experience in documentation,
preparation of reports, and presentations using the MS Office suite.

- Able to conduct deep research through
secondary sources.

- Familiarity with education, skilling,
livelihoods, or government social sector programmes in India.

- Prior work experience in a
government-facing technical assistance program or CSR programs will be a plus.

interpretation skills, academic content decoding, and evidence-based
decision-making.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and
written communication skills; ability to engage and persuade diverse
stakeholders.

thinking, with a focus on long-term planning and aligning actions with project
objectives.
