Job Description
We are looking for an experienced qualified to manage Tool Inspection & Tool Crib operations supporting aircraft maintenance activities. The candidate will ensure proper inventory control, calibration, serviceability, and traceability of tools and equipment used in aircraft maintenance while complying with regulatory and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the master inventory list of tools and equipment.
- Ensure tool identification, engraving, and proper storage in designated locations.
- Manage tool issue and return process for maintenance teams.
- Monitor calibration and proof-loading schedules for tools and equipment.
- Maintain tool control cards and calibration records.
- Ensure adequate availability and serviceability of tools for aircraft maintenance.
- Coordinate with stores for dispatch of tools to calibration agencies.
- Maintain records of individual tool kits and replenishments.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance.
- Conduct bi-annual physical inventory checks of Tool Crib inventory.
