Responsibilities

- Manage and administer enterprise BI platforms (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Sigma, Metric Insights)
- Perform upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
- Manage capacity planning (Premium/Embedded) and monitor usage/performance
- Solid understanding of application and system vulnerability management
- Manage deployment pipelines and CI/CD integrations for Power BI, Qlik
- Experience with monitoring tools and platform analytics
- Implement data security models including RLS and role-based access
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding and license allocation
- Monitor platform health, capacity usage, and performance metrics
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Manage and resolve incidents through ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Provide root cause analysis for the incidents
- Maintain SLA compliance and incident documentation
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus)
- Ensure consistent artifact promotion and traceability across environments by aligning repository practices with security, compliance, and release governance standards




- Oversee data refresh schedules, gateway configurations, and connectivity
- Provide L2/L3 support for Power BI users and business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot issues related to reports, datasets, gateways, and access
- Work closely with network and security teams to enforce cloud networking best practices
- Guide and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with data engineering, security, and platform teams to continuously improve the BI Tools ecosystem
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL
- Administer QlikView / Qlik Sense environments
- Manage Qlik servers, reload schedules, and user access
- Support migrations between Qlik and Power BI if needed
- Troubleshoot Qlik dashboards and performance issues

Additional Responsibilities:

- Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degrees in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
