- Supporting and improving regulatory compliance by facilitating timely licenses, approvals and other regulatory clearances to run the business without disruptions.
- Existing working relationship in the State Excise and Revenue departments (Excise Commissioners, Joint Commissioners, Principal Secretary etc) in Southern States (like Karnataka, Telangana, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh)
- Co-ordinating with Brewery heads, Supply Chain, State (Sales) heads and other regional teams to maintain the tracker for expediting the various Operational and Policy issues impacting the business
- Supporting Policy advocacy initiatives with State governments and other stakeholders on Ease of Doing Business, Pricing issues, Excise Duty Structure reforms, Responsible Drinking. Knowledge of Regulatory and Policy issues impacting the Beer / Alcobev Industry is highly desirable.
- Proactively providing inputs and influencing policy/regulatory legislations that affect the companys business.
- Handling various issues related to operations, marketing, regulatory, finance, taxation, etc. as and when they arise.

- Role is strategic in nature and requires the candidate to have strong business acumen, leadership skills, analytic bent of mind to understand implications of policy on the business. Candidate should be boardroom savvy and be able to speak up their mind. However, the candidate should be able to roll up the sleeves and get things done at the ground / field level.
