Job Summary

The Sr. Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing mapping operations. This role involves gathering and interpreting data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data visualization tools, and a good understanding of map-related workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights

- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to map curation to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Provide actionable insights to support decision-making for operational and strategic initiatives.

Process Improvement

- Work closely with operations, quality, and process excellence teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions to improve workflows, reduce errors, and enhance productivity.
- Support automation initiatives by analyzing the impact of tools and technology on operations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Partner with operations managers, quality teams, and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical deliverables.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise, and impactful communication.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and operational teams to ensure alignment on data and analytics objectives.

Performance Monitoring

- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of operational strategies, workflows, and training programs.
- Identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Design and implement frameworks to monitor policy adherence and quality standards.

Tool and System Optimization

- Leverage advanced analytics tools to enhance data visualization and reporting.




- Provide input on tool improvements or new tool implementation to support operational goals.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis efforts.

Documentation

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
- Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRDs), user stories, use cases, process flows, and gap analyses.
- Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, workflow diagrams, and business rules.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, concise, and actionable documentation for technical and non-technical teams.
- Ensure all project documentation is version-controlled, traceable, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to validate requirements and maintain documentation accuracy.
- Document change requests, impact assessments, and solution recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a centralized repository of business and project documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer through well-structured documentation and presentations.

Key Skills & Qualification

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Robust understanding of geospatial data and mapping tools is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Geography, or a related field.
- Masters degree or certifications in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or GIS tools is an advantage.
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or data analyst, preferably in map operations, geospatial data, or content moderation.
- Proven track record in using data to drive operational improvements.
