Role & responsibilities

- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on experience retrieving data from both databases (SQL) and APIs
- Strong report building and data visualization skills; Power BI experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation
- Solid understanding of data modeling and query optimization
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

- Extract, clean, and transform data from relational databases and third-party APIs.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards (Power BI preferred)
- Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing, automation, and analysis
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all reporting deliverables
- Optimize queries and data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Document data sources, transformation logic, and reporting processes

Preferred candidate profile

- Domain knowledge of hedge funds or the broader financial services / investment industry
- Experience working with Snowflake
