About the Role
DAZN is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale engineering initiatives across our global streaming platform.
This role is ideal for someone with experience managing Java, Node projects and working closely with software engineering teams. While a background in backend application development or engineering delivery is highly desirable, hands-on coding experience is not required.
You should be comfortable collaborating with Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Managers, QA, and DevOps teams, understanding technical discussions, managing delivery risks, and driving Agile execution across multiple engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager, Engineering Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Scrum Master.
- Experience managing Technical Projects - IT
- Ability to understand backend engineering concepts and participate in technical discussions with Architects and Engineering teams.
- Hands-on programming experience is not mandatory, but familiarity with backend technologies and software development lifecycles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating multiple engineering teams across geographically distributed environments.
