We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer / Software Tester with over 6+ years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical thinking, good Katalon Knowledge, solid SQL knowledge, Python Selenium and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test strategies and test cases
- Perform manual and/or automation testing for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback
- Validate data using SQL queries and ensure data integrity
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups,
and retrospective meetings
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in software testing / QA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive knowledge of SQL (writing queries, joins, data validation)
- Experience with test case design, test execution, and defect tracking
- Experience in Python Selenium
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience in API testing (Postman/Swagger) is a plus
- knowledge of automation tools (Selenium or similar) is an added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
- Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus
