Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Head Operations & Facilities Management to lead end-to-end facility operations across office and industrial environments. The role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, particularly in regulated sectors such as pharma and biotechnology. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring seamless facility performance, compliance, safety, and cost optimization while managing large, multi-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee complete facility management for office and industrial infrastructure.
- Ensure high standards of maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency across all sites.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Lead electrical and HVAC operations, ensuring system reliability and compliance.
- Monitor energy efficiency initiatives and optimize utility consumption.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory norms, especially in pharma/biotech environments.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 30+ staff including technical and support functions.




- Build strong second-line leadership and ensure continuous capability development.
- Drive performance management and accountability within the team.
- Manage external vendors, AMC contracts, and service providers.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met with high quality and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless facility support.
- Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
- Maintain regulatory compliance relevant to industrial and pharma facilities.
- Conduct audits and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost control without compromising quality.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience: Minimum 1015 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Industry Exposure: Preferably from pharma, biotech, or regulated industrial environments.
- Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in electrical systems and HVAC operations.
- Team Management: Proven experience managing large teams (30+ members).
- Leadership Skills: Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred); MBA or relevant certifications are an added advantage.
